Ariana Grande is making more news for her bad behavior and enormous ego than she is for her music. Not only is she allegedly a nightmare to work with on photo shoots, she’s even managed to drive away her life coach. Now that’s an accomplishment.
But, her “Bang Bang” collaborator Jessie J says that AG is just totes misunderstood, you guys.
“I always say, judge a person when you meet them. I’ve met Ariana, and there’s a very thin line between ‘diva’ and ‘survival.’ And a lot of people can’t [differentiate that] — and I’ve had that,” said Jessie. “I’ve had the diva stuff. And it’s when people can’t cope with how passionate you are, and how much you care.”

Anyway.
If Ariana did snipe that she hopes her fans “all f*cking die” after a meet-and-greet, well now that doesn’t fall under the category of “passion” or “caring too much.” Sorry. It means you have zero respect for the very people responsible for your fame. Mum always taught me not to bite the hand that feeds/signs your trust fund checks, or in Ari’s case, downloads your albums.
“She’s super talented, she’s very young, and she’s very sure of what she wants,” Jessie added, which prompted my cleverest minion to snipe, “So was Joseph Stalin.” LOLZ!

But yes fine, AG is no Stalin, but still, Jessie sounds more like she’s making excuses for Ariana’s antics–and thereby confirming them–rather than taking Ari’s tactic and saying everyone is lying about her.
So what do you think is true, my lambs? Do we just not understand the struggle of the super famous? Or does Ariana need a big slice of humble pie in her next greenroom?
