I was raised to believe that there are but three pieces of jewelry a man is allowed to wear: cufflinks, a wedding band and a watch worth at least $3,000.
But clearly, the rap community disagrees with me on this. Bling is best, right boys? And it seems that some musical men are fine with sharing their baubles with their babes. I spied Ariana Grande wearing the same necklace as her rapper beau Big Sean, aka the guy who literally couldn’t come up with a less creative stage name.

The pair are now sporting matching lion necklaces as a sign of their “special connection.”
“He got her that necklace because he felt that it represents a special meaning between both of them,” a source says. “Ariana would always compliment him on his necklace and when he got it for her, it was his special gift. She loved it!”
I feel like the mechanical claw was going for a bracelet but grabbed another lion necklace instead. Fine, that’s sweet, I suppose. But let’s not do any more matchy-matchy things, mmkay darlings? A bauble in common is one thing but it’s a slippery slope to two-of-a-kind Christmas sweaters and matching tattoos.
