For one, I am not jealous of anyone, certainly not Miley Cyrus! Why would I be? I too can drive away my hot fiance, hack off my hair and let the entire world see my tonsils on a daily basis. But I don’t, not because I’m afraid or lack the confidence, but because it’s tacky. And unflattering. And, most importantly, hard for people to forget. If MC ever decides that being “turnt up” isn’t exactly a phase she wants to remain in for the next 50 years, she’s going to have an uphill battle in terms of reinvention. While a non-famous femme may be able to leave the past behind, poor Miley has made the mistake of endlessly documenting her antics.

So sorry, Ari, but you’re not exactly on point with that inference. Although, Ariana did go on to say that while she may admire Miley, she has no intention of turning into her:
“I don’t feel comfortable flaunting my body that much yet. I don’t need to do that to show I’m grown up,” she said. “I don’t want people to talk about my choices or how little I’m wearing. I just want the conversation to be about the music and what I’m creating.”
Tres refreshing, don’t you think, darlings? A starlet who wants to be–gasp!–known for her talent and not for her body parts?
